“It is almost the end of the blessed month of Ramadaan. It’s painful that the lovely and blessed month is leaving us, but the advice to all Muslims brothers and sisters, is that we must not stop making our Masjids full. We must also not change from good to bad after Ramadaan. We must carry on with the same spirit to love one another and help one another as Muslims. We must not only be good Muslims in Ramadaan, but all the time. Wishing each and every Muslim throughout the world a happy Eid Mubarak.”

“Traditionally Eid is a day of celebration with family and friends. For the past two years we were unable to celebrate as Covid played havoc with our lives. This year, with the grace of the Almighty, we are over the worst as we slowly regain normality in our lives. Let us spare a thought for all the families who have lost loved ones over the past two years. Let us also be generous in charity so that we bring joy to those who have lost their jobs as a result of the pandemic. Wishing everybody an enjoyable Eid-ul-Fitr.”

“We would like to wish our fellow Muslim residents and neighbours of Ward 61 & the rest of greater Tshwane, a blessed and joyous Eid-ul-Fitr. We are blessed to be in such a diverse community where every religious celebration is respected by all. It is because of this togetherness and understanding, coupled with the spirit of helping, that we can overcome the many obstacles and hurdles that affect our community. May the joyous celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr reignite the passion and desire to restore our ward to what it was, and let us work together to achieve this. Let us remember the less fortunate on this joyous occasion and give a little extra charity. In our prayers, let us remember all the communities going through difficulties. Have a joyous and special Eid-ul-Fitr.”

“All praise is due to Allah (SWT) the sustainer and nourisher of the all the worlds. Peace and choicest blessings upon the noblest of creation Nabi Muhammed (PBUH), his pure household and noble companions (RA). I am formally from the Free State from a town called Ficksburg and currently reside in Midrand. I am studying Dentistry at the University of Pretoria. I would like to begin by thanking all the students who have put their trust in MSA and continue to support us. I would like to express gratitude to the donors, both students and non-students, who support our initiatives in everyway possible. I would also like to state that none of our initiatives would have been possible without the constant willingness and dedication from my executive committee and volunteers. The initiatives that were carried out during this blessed month were the Daily Taraweeh Salah that took place on the Hatfield campus, the Ramdaan hamper drive and the mass student Iftar alongside managing and arranging student affairs. May the Almighty accept everyone’s efforts. May the Almighty allow us to see another Ramadaan and forgive our sins. May He grant us a joyous Eid-ul-Fitr. Kindly remember me and the MSA Tuks family in your pious duas. On behalf of the Muslim Students Association family at Tuks, I would like to wish everyone a wonderful and joyous Eid. EID MUBARAK!”

“Eid Mubarak to all celebrating this joyous occasion. May you and your loved ones have a blessed day. Eid signifies the end of one of the most beautiful months in Islam, a month filled with peace. The people of Palestine are robbed of their peace during Ramadan as they are always under attack. So, as we enjoy our Eid, let us remember the people of Palestine in our prayers. Let us unite for a free Palestine. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

“E-Embrace with an open heart
