Hello there dear kids and welcome to this October edition of Kids Corner. Now that you have entered your final school term, with the year-end exams in sight, we are sure that you are preparing to dazzle your parents with magical results during the final exams. And talking of magical, the spooky day of Halloween which is celebrated on October 31st, is around the corner. The festival is most popular in western countries such as the USA and not as popular in South Africa, most probably for safety reasons. For those of you who take an interest in various holidays and events world-wide, happy Halloween! It may be a fun experience to dress up in interesting costumes, even though you cannot go ‘trick or treating’, for your own safety.
