Born: March 14, 1980 – Called to Rest: August 21, 2021
Ivan was the second son of Kookie and Koopie Naidoo. He attended Jacaranda Primary School, where he completed standard 5.
He grew up in a home filled with love and generosity, where not only did he have his biological brothers, but also enjoyed the company of his cousins Gono, Tharaj and Prenash.
Ivan was employed at AMKA, which was his first job and went on to fill many positions in different companies, with his last employment being for his brothers at J BLOCK.
Ivan was well-loved and well-known in White Blocks, which is where he spent most of his time. Many people cared for him as their own and looked after him.
Those special memories of you will always bring a smile. If only we could have you back for just a little while. Then we could sit and talk again just like we used to. You always meant so much to us and always will. The fact that you’re no longer here will always cause pain to your mum, brothers and family, but you are forever in our hearts until we meet again, we will always love you.
Ivan will be sorely missed by his mother, Kookie, his brothers Paul and Thums, his sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and all his relatives and loved ones. Most especially Ivan will be missed by a large group of friends, who cherished him and spent most of their time with him. White Blocks will never be the same without Ivan.
