“Grade 7 learner Lebohang was a bright young boy who always had a big smile on his face. He radiated this positive energy that brushed off on all those around him. He was dedicated to his schooling, was always eager to learn and was always very attentive in class. He was always willing to help his teachers and would jump at a chance to offer his assistance wherever he could, which was such an admirable character trait. His class mates and friends described him as funny, happy and someone who was ever ready to share his lunch with them. He was a very talented soccer player whose biggest dream was to follow in the footsteps of his favourite soccer player, Ronaldo and to play professional soccer. He was a child whose presence was felt in the classroom and now, all that is felt, is his absence. On behalf of the teachers and staff of Laudium Heights Primary School, we want to thank Lebohang’s family for choosing this institute and entrusting us with your most prized possession, for having faith in us, as teachers, to educate him and take him under our wing. February 25th was the day we lost an amazing human being, after he was tragically struck by lightning, but that was also the day that heaven gained an angel. Lebohang Mcosani, your name will forever be etched on our hearts.”  – Laudium Heights Primary
