The People’s Arch. Emiratus Archbishop Desmond Mpilo Tutu was the midwife to South Africa’s delivery of democracy. Voice of the voiceless, he embodied Ubuntu. Son of South Africa and revered globally. He frowned upon racial relegation and repression. The Arch was a tall tree in the forest of justice. He towered above most others. We enjoyed his fruit and shade. Let us treasure his timber for the foundation of the future. He loved, he cried, he forgave. He was our African dream. Lala Kale Baba Desmond Tutu.
