With September 1 on our doorstep, we heart-warmingly welcome Spring with joy… the season of renewal… colourful blossoms, butterfly wings and the promise of warm summer days ahead. The greenness of the grass will soon be echoed by the trees and the wind will lose its cold bite. This is the season to make a clean sweep of the negative and re-embrace the wonderful gift of life. As we experience the darkness of Covid, we pray that the new season will bring a glimmer of hope and good tidings, and that very soon, Covid-19 will be defeated and left behind in history books. Hopefully, socialising, interacting with family and friends, travelling and the holding of mass prayers, will once again become a norm.
