Al Ghazali College organized a high tea for the outgoing Grade 12 class of 2020, this past Saturday (October 24) in the Al Ghazali College courtyard at around 3pm.
The Grade 12’s met for a photo-shoot at a private residence in Raslouw and were thereafter ferried to the school in a white limousine, escorted by a convoy of cars and security vehicles. At the school, they were welcomed by parents and school staff. The Grade 12’s were dressed to the nines, and walked the red carpet into the College. Master of Ceremonies, Harish Karsen (Deputy Principal) directed the proceedings for the afternoon. Speeches were delivered, amongst others, by Suliman Khan (Principal), Michelle Guedes (Senior Teacher), Imaad Noormohamed (Head Boy), Mariam Jacobs (Head Girl) and Faizah Akbar (Prefect).
The organizer, Shamsoonisha Hoosain (Senior teacher and HOD) with the assistance of the Grade 11 learners went beyond the call of duty in arranging a function that had all the glitz and glamour. The Grade 12’s made all members of the staff and the school extremely proud by conducting and presenting themselves with much dignity and grace.
