A delightful holiday read, also featuring local author,
Zaheeda Dockrat…where she writes about her experiences in the ‘Big House’.

TAXI THROUGH MZANZI, promises to be a colourful, quirky, and entertaining Anthology, featuring talented local authors from around the country.
The book which is to be launched next weekend is an interesting and magical collection of short stories, each one unique to personal everyday life experiences, weaved into beautiful tales that are funny, touching and full of proudly SOUTH AFRICAN anecdotes.
The book includes a piece by local author Zaheeda Dockrat, whose story takes us on her personal journey growing up in the Indian community of Laudium, as she navigates the intricacies of being part of a large INDIAN SOUTH AFRICAN family, where she discovers how the integral role played by the women in her life shaped her perspective and outlook on her very own quest of self-discovery.
Zaheeda, who freelanced as a writer for the Laudium Sun, has always aspired to make a difference in the lives of women through her writing.
MEDIA INC will officially release the book on Sunday, 5 December, at THE MILITARY MUSEUM JOHANNESBURG.
Seats are limited.
