Sastri Ave.

Nathan Govender of Pentecostal Revival Centre, “Christmas comes with the angelic announcement of the good news of Jesus Christ. Imagine the story of Christmas and angels appearing before Mary, Joseph and the shepherds in an open field bringing the good news of a great miracle, joy to the world, a Saviour is born. Angels always indicate the miraculous, mysterious and majestic work of God. The Bible describes in Luke 1 verse 31 the mystery of Christ. Christmas comes as if God pulled back a curtain on the world’s stage and placed a spotlight on Jesus Christ born in Bethlehem. From the beginning, God had a purpose by sending His son, the Bible says “Thou shall call His name Jesus for He shall save his people from their sins”. His name shall be called Emmanuel, which means God with us, the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ is a revelation truth. God through Christ reveals His great love for us. He will be great, an indication of His power, He will possess a kingdom of faith, hope and endless love. The primary expression of this good news is Gods’ grace towards mankind. God through grace has taken the initiative to bring this world back to Himself. Through the birth of Jesus, a relationship between God and mankind has been made possible. The grace of God is always amazing in that God comes to us in the most unlikely place (Bethlehem), through the most unlikely people (Mary). God through Christ comes to the most unlikely people like you and me. God comes under most unlikely circumstances. This is the Good News of Christmas and the gospel of Jesus Christ. May the spirit of Christmas illuminate your hearts bringing joy and hope with great expectations for a blessed New Year as we celebrate with our loved ones, Christ is the Good News of Christmas.
A special invitation welcoming all to our Christmas day celebration service at 9am.
