It was not only a day out to bond between father and son, but an extra special day of fun and excitement at the Hartebeespoort Dam this past weekend, when Divashin Pillay trekked down to Ifafi dam at Haarties with his son Tylon (4), to also do some fishing. It was certainly worth it, judging from the specimen he presented to the camera in this photo. Formerly of Laudium, now living in Elandspoort, Divashin used mielie bomb with vanilla dip to reel in the fine carp he is holding, together with his son. The carp weighed in at a hefty 10 kilos. Well done, Divashin and young Tylon!
