Keeyasha Naidoo, daughter of Asogram and Vinessa, was born in Laudium. She was the eldest of 2 siblings and the eldest grandchild from both sides of the family. She attended the Pretoria Hindu School, matriculating in 2006. Keeyasha started studying for a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree and studied various other qualifications. She began her career as a programmer at Standard Bank and later moved on to a career as an Analyst at the South African Reserve Bank. Keeyasha then returned to Standard Bank as a Senior Data Analyst in compliance. She had a love for arts (dancing, singing and music).
She was indeed a water baby who really enjoyed swimming and scuba diving and she passionately loved Yorkies. She had a zest for life and always had a smile on her face. Everyone who knew her, loved her dearly. She shared her love and kindness selflessly. At the age of 32 while battling autoimmune haemolytic anemia, she still continued to make an impact on everyone’s lives. During this period she was surrounded by the love and care of friends and family. Keeyasha is survived by her grandmother, parents, sister, daughter, fiancé, aunts, uncles and 24 cousins.
2 timothy 4:7-8 NIV
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
You can shed tears that she is gone
Or you can smile because she has lived.
You can remember her and only that she’s gone
Or you can cherish her memory and let her live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
Or you can do what she’d want.
Smile
Open your eyes
Love
And go on
Our joys will be greater
Our love will be deeper
Our lives will be fuller
Because we shared moments with you.
Our precious cousin sister, you will dearly be missed by all of us. Our hearts are in a million pieces. We wish you could come back. We will miss all the messages, hugs, heart to heart conversations, advice and so much more. You are now dancing with the angels. We know that you will always be protecting us from heaven. We love you so much. Rest well and in eternal peace. You are now in the arms of Jesus.
P.S. Thank you to everyone who prayed for our Keeyasha.
