My dearest brother Haroon, seven days to date, in these beautiful last days of Shabaan, the Almighty (SWT) chose to call you to enter the most awesome garden to end your pain and suffering of the past six weeks. Mickey as you were so fondly called by those who knew and loved you, are and will still be reeling for many days to come on your unexpected, untimely passing. Dearly beloved brother, even though I know I will be mourning your loss until I am no more and feel you have left us way too soon. I’m very grateful and indebted to our Creator for the opportunity given to us nearest and dearest to share your last moments and for the greatest honour of being in your presence… of seeing you pass on peacefully, serenely and in tranquility to, in my opinion, a far better world. Brother, you were a good soul, always caring for the less fortunate and downtrodden and carried the highest respect towards humanity. You were always a most welcome visitor in any family or friends home. A remarkable man you were Mickey, always found in the Almighty’s (SWT) home, singing praises and content with whatever you had. You were never a materialistic person and always shared with whoever crossed your path. The tons of family and close friends who attended your final sendoff bore testament to the humble person you were. In conclusion, Mickey, you will always occupy the most special place in my heart. I pray that Allah grant you the highest abode in Jannah with our dearest beloved parents.
Yours forever, your only loving sister, Yasmin.
